(comment)	On a recent trip to Japan, my wife fell in love with yukata and the paraphernalia worn with them. A shop in the Nakamise arcade of Tokyo's Asakusa district sold her this particular item along with her yukata and obi, explaining its used as described above in the definition (which you should please feel free to shorten). I had no idea what it was called until we looked it up at the reference web pages.
