(comment)	the 越 comes from the MSWord IME, so is a guess.  Kenkyusha also has こし器. Googling 水越 only brings up Chinese pages, so the source of the MSWord IME entry is mysterious.
BTW your site has no word for colander, which could be added to 濾過器
