(english2)	to accompany (someone) back home
(reference)	from ALC Press Japanese Textbook Series, "Intermediate Japanese Reading Skill Builder" (アルクの日本語テキスト、「日本語中級読解」), ISBN4-87234-700-5, p. 10: "犬をつれて帰るのはむずかしいので、だれか犬をかわいがってくれる日本人にタローを飼ってもらいたいと思いました。"
(comment)	The object of this verb is an animal or a person, not an object. 連れ帰る means "to bring back home" whereas 連れて帰る means "to accompany (someone) back home." There's a slight difference brought about by the て, which adds the sense of "with." (Another way to say this, which I couldn't find in EDICT, is 連れ戻す (つれもどす), but I haven't looked into the meaning of this version. Perhaps for a future addition.)
