(comment)	I don't know if "sole" is the right word here. nikukyuu means the soft underside of the paw, the parts without hair. Gets a lot of Google hits and even image hits so it's definitely a legit word. Sometimes it's also used to mean paw prints (http://www.hankodaisuki.jp/tanoshii/nikukiu_m.html).
