(comment)	The amendment is the addition of the second headword 荒げる and its reading あらげる.  So far as I know, the readings are restricted to the respective headwords (i.e. 荒 is always あら, never あ or あらら).
The dictionaries cited list the two forms separately, with a cross-reference from あらげる to あららげる.  I don't know whether you'd consider that a more appropriate approach here or not.
In current informal usage the new form あらげる appears to be considerably more common: Google has indexed some 47,000 instances of 荒げる, compared to just 753 of the "standard" form 荒らげる.
