被写界深度
被写体のある位置にピントを合わせた時、その前後にもピントが合っているように見
える範囲がある。この範囲を被写界深度と呼ぶ。被写界深度は絞りを絞り込む程深く
なり、逆に開けると浅くなる。また撮影距離が近い程浅くなる。ピント面の手前より
後方のが深いという特徴もある。広角レンズより望遠レンズの方が深度が浅い。
