(reference)	In the anime bokusatsu tenshi dokurochan, the expression "天使のわっか" is repeated multiple times. The meaning is quite obviously "the halo of an angel". Additionally ロープのわっか is used to mean a loop of rope. According to goo.ne.jp kokugojiten, it's a slightly colloquial usage, but I chose not to mark it with (col) because it is used in writing too.

(comment)	Suggest adding sense for "giving up", probably related to 匙を投げる.  This sense has been tested for in (at least) the 2000 and 2004 JLPT level 1 so it may not be very common but (for a certain audience) it's quite useful. ;-)
