(comment)	This word seems to be used in engineering/construction a lot.  The above web page also includes "mikiri-ita" (boundary board) but I'm not sure if that's worth adding to the dictionary or not. ditty for "mikiri-tape".
Also you may consider adding this basic "boundary" (or "cut off") definition to the root word (mikiri).  I've heard engineers drop the "sen" part and just talk about the "mikiri".  And the kokugo entry at goo.ne.jp seems to support this.
