(headw1)	読み辛い
(kana1)	よみづらい
(pos1)	n
(comment)	読み辛い; 読みづらい 【よみづらい】 (adj) hard to read is not what Japanese actually say. 読みにくい, which is not in Edict, is so very common and deserves a P marker just as much as "読みやすい 【よみやすい】 (n) easy to read" does.
Please understand the thinking of Japanese English "professionals": They celebrate and endorse the arcane at the expense of what people actually say. I should know because I memorized 15,000 words of their arcane nonsense only to be told that I was "interesting".

(headw1)	読みやすい
(kana1)	よみやすい
(pos1)	n
(comment)	読みやすい 【よみやすい】 (n) easy to read
This is hardly a noun! It is rather an adjectival form. And I will go toe-to-toe with the writers of these dysfunctional dictionaries, none of whom would dare speak English with me.
BTW, where is 読みにくい in Edict? And why don't they have P markers as something heard everyday in education circles?

(headw1)	ふにゃふにゃ
(kana1)	ふにゃふにゃ
(pos1)	n
(comment)	ふにゃふにゃ (adj-na,adv,n,vs) soft; limp normally replaces
もにゃもにゃ to indicate someone who is mumbling or talking with rice in his mouth. Sorry, but reality of usage trumps dusty dictionaries.

(headw1)	下手
(kana1)	へた
(pos1)	n
(comment)	When I used Translate Words on 「一所懸命練習してきたのに、まだ下手です。」, 「下手」 returned the following text: "下手 【したて] (n) (1) humble position; inferior; (2) underarm grip on opponent's belt (sumo); (P); EP." Perhaps I'm missing something important, but why isn't 「へた」 present?

(headw1)	林檎の心
(kana1)	りんごのしん
(pos1)	n
(comment)	林檎の心 【りんごのしん】 (n) core of an apple Why did 心 get chosen over 芯 as in: 芯が腐っている
Both are fully readable but you know how I dislike inconsistency, lest there be a reason for it. Hence, my question -- and refreshingly Not an Objection.

(headw1)	本格
(kana1)	ほんかく
(pos1)	n
(comment)	本格 【ほんかく】 (n) propriety; fundamental rules
Got a real problem with this one for two reasons:
1) English rendition
2) P marker worthiness
Sorry, just have heard 本格的 quite a lot, just not 本格. Please feel free to put me in my place.

(headw1)	誘導
(kana1)	ゆうどう
(pos1)	n
(comment)	誘導 【ゆうどう】 (n,vs) guidance; leading; induction; introduction; incitement; inducement
Interesting that this gets a P marker, as it should, but also very commonly used: 指導 or 指導 do not. Gosh, would I love to meet the "powers that be" that write these dictionaries in smoke-filled rooms! They are indeed the ultimate authority.

(comment)	Current entry says the meaning is "encoding"? But not listed in compdic as such, and the kanji suggest that isn't right.

(headw1)	基づく
(headw2)	基付く
(headw3)	基く
(kana1)	もとづく
(pos1)	n
(comment)	Addition of alternative okurigana version. 基く probably should have a (io) tag but it's given in the IME henkan dictionary and has lots of hits.
