婉曲方                                 
Guessing 方法, 方 in lieu of 法 - as I read pretty OK but write badly. Very common among the educated: 婉曲的に言う
Very common among the "masses": 間接的 and 間接的に言う
間接的に言う is very common but 婉曲的に言う commands more respect as evidencing mastery of the language. I have added all of the above to the list I am working on.

Much apologies for being so acerbic but I see this "mistake" common throughout Edict and other well-intended dictionaries. The affix 権 indicates a "right"
or "authority"as in 権利. It is not therefore simply another noun form. In the same way, 出版権 does not mean "publication", though it is properly defined in Edict as "publishing rights".

By my humble understanding, 監督 only refers to the action and not, lest it be a mutually understood abbreviation, to a person. Instead, 監督人 is usually employed and not 監督者 【かんとくしゃ】 (n) superintendent; supervisor.

Oh, my goodness, this kind of nonsense, like so much other, deserves a P marker. Yeh, I know the dictionaries say so. Gotta love those dictionaries; I just do not.
