Comment | The current English meaning 3 is admittedly too wordy, but I think it is closer to the two References meanings quoted above than the suggested amendment "Buy cheap, sell dear." The essence of this phrase is the importance of seizing the rare buying opportunity for a massive gain in the future. The proposed amendment does not convey his "seizing a rare opportunity" aspect.

Two problems here:
- EDICT doesn't include the な in 形容動詞. (All -的 formations are 形容動詞) - in general -的 forms only go in if they are different from an obvious "-like" version of the original noun. Here 敏感的 seems to me a pretty natural progression from the 敏感 entry. |

Comment | I apologise for not having a reference for this word, but since the pronunciation "keitai" is used in a number of words, picking it up on Yahoo! (for instance) is difficult to use for this particular word.--As far as experience, I have found that some Japanese use "keiba" as a conjunction for "KEI-tai BA-n-gou" whereas others have never heard of this (thus the colloquial label). Never have I heard of it being used for an ordinary phone number (though this could be attached to the idea that mostly younger Japanese use the term) and exclusively for cellular phone numbers, as in: 「ケイバは何ですの?」 |

Comment | 怪我人 940,000
けが人 1,010,000 ケガ人 308,000 Probably worth having all three versions if only for the "translate words in text" function. |

Current Entry | 同じ様に [おなじように] /(adv) similarly/ |
Headword 1 | 同じ様に |
Headword 2 | 同じように |
Reading 1 | おなじように |
Part-of-speech | adv |
English 1 | similarly |
Comment | Added partial kanji version however I'm more concerned that we presently have ...
同じよう 【おなじよう】 (adj-na) similarly 同じ様に 【おなじように】 (adv) similarly と同じように 【とおなじように】 (exp) in the same way as; just like 同じよう is the 'common denominator'. Given 同じよう (adj-na) then 同じように (adv) can be assumed. と同じように is very common but と同じような is only slightly less so. For that matter we have and entry for 同じ but not for と同じ. I would suggest dropping at least some of the above (N.B. Let me know if you do so I can re-index as appropriate). |

Editorial Comment | I've dropped the 同じ様に entry, and added 同じ様 to 同じよう, making it "similar" instead of "similarly". I'll leave と同じように. |
