CommentThere's already another entry for かこつける, which according to IME appears to be the standard okurigana. I'd suggest combining them or just getting rid of one. The example is associated with the other entry, but doesn't actually use the kanji.

Current Entry斤量 [きんりょう] /(n) weight/(P)/
Headword 1斤量
Reading 1きんりょう
Part-of-speechn
English 1weight
CommentNot being a "dictionary guy", I nevertheless checked online ALC, Yahoo and Google and found no mention of this entry, which oddly enough warrants a P marker. When I check "JeKai" (whatever that is), I find "連 is paper industry jargon for 1000 sheets of paper (except for cardstock, for which 1連 is 100 sheets). 連量 expresses the weight of each 連 of paper and is now usually measured in kilograms (also called キロ連量). It is sometimes referred to as 斤量, due to an old and now abolished custom of measuring paper in units of 斤 (about 600 grams).

"Now abolished" piqued my interest. For "weight" (measurement) I always used 重さ (simple) or 重量. Don't know 斤量, though from the compenents it is easily understood. Why no entries for 斤量 in ALC, Yahoo or Google? And why the P marker?
NameDennis
Submission Typeamend
Editorial Comment Why no entries for 斤量 in ALC, Yahoo or Google? - ask them.
It's in GG5, Koujien and Daijirin. All confirm the meaning. And the "P" is because it gets more than 1M Google hits.
