English 1sum of money (used for costs incurred)
Referencegykc
Commentfixing a few things, based on what i know. if i'm wrong, someone please correct me.

也 is primarily a suffix, and it follows things like 円 or ドル. i didn't remove the "noun" tag, as it may be used as a stand-alone noun in some cases i'm unfamiliar with. (although it's not listed in the goo.ne.jp dictionary)

也 should only be used for costs incurred. 円也 is not used, for example, when giving money to someone for their wedding, as it implies that "your wedding cost me so-and-so yen".

CommentI recommend removing the previously-submitted entry "けいば" that supposedly has the same meaning as 携番. It was an unreferenced submission, as I recall, and the ん sound is so faint in Japanese that it could obviously be missed by someone.

IMO, if you say けいば to a Japanese person, the only thing that comes to mind is horce-racing.

Obviously, the hiragana reading applies only to the first headword here.

CommentRe: The related current entry, 直謝る 【ひたあやまる】 (v5r) to apologize earnestly; to apologise earnestly.
