The following figures should probably be taken with a pinch of salt but it is certainly common enough.

English 2 | what's wrong? |
Comment | Is it sensible to add the の to this expression? Out of the 42 examples of this expression in the Tanaka Corpus all but one are どうしたの or どうしたん. (The exception is どうしたというのだ - so there's a の in there eventually ;-)
There are also a few どうした's that do not have a meaning as given for this entry - I'm not including those. |

北向き facing north; facing north; northern exposure vs. 南向き minami muki = southern exposure; facing south Please understand that, due to time constraints, I never check to see if these suggestions have been incorporated - a kind of "take it or leave" proposition, if you will. Comment | Regarding "(col) tag belongs on "make love" only. (i've never heard it used this way, and there's no mention in Daijrin or ALC... doesn't sound far-fetched, but are there any references?)"
It's more like "fuck" than "make love" and it certainly is used in that way. That's the word from which ハメ撮り was derived. It's usually written with katakana for the first two characters for that usage. |

Comment | sigh... is it really worth throwing in "pubis" when 99.9999f the time, it refers to a bone or the surrounding region? oxford doesn't have it, none of the other answers.com entries mention it, and i can't find one other web hit that refers to "pubis" in this way.
Google-- define: pubis # Either of the pair of bones forming the anterior ventral portion of the pelvic girdle. www.uvm.edu/~jdecher/GoT.html # Part of the pelvis www.alphalink.com.au/~dannj/gloss.htm # the anteroventral member of the three bones forming the pelvis. See figure at antitrochanter. www.palaeos.com/Vertebrates/Lists/Glossary/GlossaryPo.html # one of the three sections of the hipbone; together these two bones form the front of the pelvis wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn the last google match was a wikipedia redirect to mons pubis that has now been replaced with: Pubis may refer to: * Pubis (bone) * Mons pubis, a padding of fat that protects the pubis bone |

Comment | adding たらい回し, and expanding the meaning
senses (2) and (3) could be combined, but sense (2) can be used to refer to something desirable, such as a political position, so I figured they might be better left separate |

Comment | yes, you're right, paul. i've seen the ハメ thing on pink chirashi, and i just didn't put it together. "make love" should probably be changed to something a little more graphic. i guess the literal definition would be "stuff", in the slang british sense, but "fuck" would probably work just as well for yanks
i feel sorry for you jim... your hourly updating has turned the submissions page into a slow-moving chat room |

Oh well, I guess it's inching towards a more immediate system.
I made that sense: "to have sex/to fuck", and for ハメ撮り I added an xref to はめる. |
