The term "fiscal" refers to the fiscal (ºâÀ¯¡¢that is, taxation and public spending) aspect of public policy, and hence is unrelated to monetary policy. The term "money market" has a specific meaning in economics and finance, and hence had better be avoided. |

Comment | I was studying Heisig's Remebering the Kanji when I came to frame #1290. I decided to look up the kanji for more clarification. That is when I noticed this entry. I had no idea what an afterbrain was so I decided to look that up. After some digging I came to the two pages listed in my references. I am far from a medical expert, but it would seem that "medulla oblongata" is a better definition. However, since I am not sure if afterbrain is a synonym for medulla oblongata, I added the synonym listed in Ref #1 and did not suggest the removal of the current definition. |

Comment | Tallinn and Tallin are merely alternate spellings of the Estonian city, I think.
I've been meaning to comment on this actually. There're still some issues with enamdict's list of place names. In particular I've noticed the following: 1) Cities formerly part of the USSR being listed as "Russia" when in fact they are in other countries. (e.g. Tallinn) 2) The majority of cities of the former Czechoslovakia are listed merely as "(Czech, Slovak)", rather than specifying the exact country. 3) I sent a correction earlier to update "Dili" from "Indonesia" to "East Timor". I imagine that there are also a (naturally very limited) number of other East Timorese places that need to be updated. 4) There is a severe dearth of Central Asian city names. Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) has no entry. Nor does Kabul (although it does have an edict entry). Kandahar appears to have been added after the fact, as it has no "Afghanistan" indicator. 5) "Sucre" is listed as being in Venezuela, when in fact it is in Bolivia. (There may be a city in Venezuela with that name, but certainly the one in Bolivia is more well known.) Etc. If the source files originally used to compile this list have been kept up to date, perhaps the enamdict entries for these regions could be easily updated? |

Comment | This entry was formerly ¾å¤²¤º. As it is, I don't think ¾å¤²¤º is a true word on its own, nor a suffix for other words, but part of an idiom, so I changed the headword to that idiom. Google seems to support this, as the only examples of ¾å¤²¤º were the continuative negative of ¾å¤²¤ë. However, »°Æü¤Ë(¤È)¾å¤²¤º is an idiom that is still with us, but it doesn't mean "ever" so I changed the definition too.
example:»°Æü¤È¾å¤²¤º¤Ë¿©¤Ù¤Æ¤¤¤ë means I am always eating. You might want to make this a seperate entry and leave the original, but denote that it is archaic, at best. |
