CommentI wasn't sure which part of speech this word is in Japanese so I put it as adjective.
This word always comes up as queen or princess, but according to this dictionary (and my co-workers) 后 is synonymous with 後. For example, we used it in the sentence "来日后2日目" meaning "2 days after they come to Japan".
