Editorial Comment That English really doesn't mean much. I have changed it to "reservation of Japanese nationality (procedure used with children born outside Japan)".

Headword 1三和土
Headword 2叩き
Headword 3敲き
Reading 1たたき
Part-of-speechn
English 1hard-packed dirt (clay, gravel, etc.) floor
English 2concrete floor
Reference1.

2. http://kw.allabout.co.jp/glossary/g_house/w005245.htm
CommentAs the Reference 2 above suggests (「コンクリートでてきた玄関の土間なども「三和土」とよばれることがある」), "hard-packed dirt (etc.) floor" is the primary meaning of 三和土、and "concrete floor" is the secondary (more recently used) meaning. (Occasionally written 叩き、but 敲き is rather rare.)

Please add "ateji" for 三和土=たたき.

Editorial Comment I'm reluctant to merge this with the 叩き/敲き/たたき entry, mainly because the result will be a mess. Is the use of 叩き for this sense genuine, or a not-uncommon 変換ミス?

Headword 1

CommentPlease, please, don't use 'animelab' as a reference.

It's all taken from WWWJDIC in the first place.

Part-of-speechn,vs
English 1lapse of memory
English 2forgetting for a moment something one knows well

yahoo.co.jp hits:
CommentSuggesting using ど忘れ as Headword 1, and dropping 胴忘れ.

Amplifying the English meanings.

This ど is Sense 4 of 度: (pref) (4) (uk) very; totally

Editorial Comment Both Koujien and Daijirin have 胴忘れ, so I'll keep it, but its reading is どうわすれ, so I'll move it to its own entry.
