CommentStrictly speaking, public goods are not identical with collective goods (集合財). Better stick to the standard definition of public goods, which is 公共財.

CommentThis word is not listed in any print Japanese dictionary I have consulted, including the Dai Kan-Wa Jiten. It is, however, used in many titles of festschriften. Several Buddhist dictionaries list the reading of 頌 as "じゅ", and 京都大学附属図書館 has apparently catalogued the book "東山頌寿録" with the reading " トウザンジュジュロク" (http://edb.kulib.kyoto-u.ac.jp/exhibit/tani/to.html). Only one print source verified the reading in romanization as "shoju" ("仏教と文化:鈴木大拙博士頌寿記念論文集"; 京都, 鈴木大拙博士頌寿記念会, 1960).

CommentThis word has appeared in published dictionaries not as an entry, but in the 判例 or 索引 sections. Only Meiji Toshokan has given it a reading of げんてつ. It is unclear when this word developed, and if its construction is based from the verb 綴る or if it is a kind of "和製漢語". The meaning in published sources is meant as "original spelling", though if the word IS indeed an example of a Japanese-made Sino-Japanese word, then it might also be used as "original binding" (as in a book which has been rebound); this latter use, is of course, simply theoretical.
