Comment | "Superior goods, 上級財;優等財" and "normal goods, 通常財"
have exactly the same meaning in economics. That is, consumers buy more of them as their income rises, both in percentage terms. E.g., if consumer's income rises by 10% and the demand for a good increases by more than 10%, it is called "normal good" or "superior good." |

Headword 1 | 雨降る |

Part-of-speech | v5r |

Comment | Actually, I think this verb might be used as a slight colloquialism (i.e. conjoining of 雨 and 降る alone), but I see it used often by Japanese friends, e.g. 今日雨降って走った or something similar.
I'm really not sure about it, though, so please feel free to negate this. |

See Kanji Haitani's comment later.
I suspect this is just colloquial particle-dropping. 雨降る appears once in Eijiro (ALC): ほら、傘持って行きなさい!今日は雨降るわよ! : Here, take an umbrella with you. It's going to rain today. The 傘持って is more of the same. |

Headword 1 | 雨降る |
Reading 1 | あめふる |
Part-of-speech | n |
English 1 | to be in the rain |
Comment | Just a comment:
I think one sense of 雨降る may be as an archaic pre-noun adjectival, often used poetically. e.g., 雨降る夜、雨降る季節、雨降る日の思い出 It may also be used as an archaic v5r,vi verb. e.g. 雨降りて地固まる. (雨降って地固まる is in EDICT.) But I don't know if 雨降る in this case can considered a verb form, or merely a typical archaic sentence form similar to 花咲く、水流る, etc. Also, as suggested by Arlen Cuss, 雨降る may be a youthful colloquialism of 雨が降る. But I am not sure if this should be placed in EDICT. If it is, shouldn't all the other similar expressions, such as 飯食う、学校サボる、金払う、be similarly placed in EDICT? |

Comment | Just an alternative way to write どこ. Although 何処 seems to be more popular, 何所 stil gets google hits and works works with IME.
