Editorial Comment This one troubles me. Clearly it is a "saying" - GG5 uses it as the (only) example for 鬩ぐ/せめぐ. But it's not common; < 10 WWW pages. Also it uses 禦ぐ/ふせぐ, which is in no modern dictionary, and 務/あなどり. Is 務 an alternative way of writing 侮り, or is it a totally different word? Help!

ReferenceYahoo!辞書: http://dic.yahoo.co.jp/dsearch?enc=UTF-8&p=もらう&dtype=3&stype=1&dname=2ss&ref=1&index=248260
CommentThe meaning can be inferred from the もらう entry, but I think "to see the doctor" is more idiomatic than "to have the doctor look", if there is no object.

Or possibly have a more generalised entry instead:
見てもらう, to see someone (e.g., doctor, specialist etc.)

Editorial Comment I went for the shorter version (but it's a very common usage of もらう.)
