English 4(4) (esp. 早い) easy, simple, quick (see 手っ取り早い)
Reference大辞泉 | 大辞林
CommentCurrently there are two separate entires for はやい though both are the same word. I submitted this as new, I suggest merging / removing the current entries. Perhaps rather than (esp. 速い) etc, (esp. 速) might be better to save space?

早い and 速い are (P).

Also, 疾い currently does not have this reading
NameBrandon Kentel
Submission Typenew
Editorial Comment This one goes back and forth. originally they were combined, but after discussion (I think on SLJ) they were split. The main (probably only) problem with combining lies with the old EDICT format where the "(usu. 速い)" doesn't appear (can't have Japanese in the gloss). That notwithstanding, I think I'll put them back together. I'll use "usu. 早い" etc. and put oK on 疾い and 捷い. I see GG5 has them combined. (I suspect Paul won't like what this does to Tanaka indexing...)
