Current Entryピーマン /(n) (fr: piment) green pepper/pimento/capsicum/(P)/
Headword 1ピーマン
Part-of-speechn
English 1(fr: piment) bell pepper
English 2green pepper
Referencehttp://www2.alc.co.jp/ejr/index.php?word_in=s[}&word_in2=&word_in3=PVawEWi72JXCKoa0Je
http://dic.yahoo.co.jp/dsearch?enc=UTF-8&p=若&stype=0&dtype=0
CommentFixed the glosses... I've only seen ピーマン used to refer to bell peppers, although technically all the peppers are just varieties of the same species. I think including "pimento" and "capsicum" dilutes the gloss, as these generally have a "hot" or "spicy" image when bell peppers have no hotness.

Current Entryパプリカ /(n) paprika/
Headword 1パプリカ
Part-of-speechn
English 1(1) bell pepper, esp. the sweet red variety used to make the spice paprika
English 2paprika (variety of pepper)
English 3(2) paprika (spice)
Referenceeijiro, Wikipedia
CommentAnother attempt to clear up the glosses... Unfortunately, it appears that in the US we call bell pepper what everyone else calls paprika. And in the US, paprika instead carries the connotation of the spice... If you can find a better way to represent that in the glosses that's not too confusing, please feel free to change it.
