it appears to be an iK version of the kojien entry for "tara no ki", which places the two kanji together. the kanji on the left (ÁÚ) should have a tree radical on its left-hand side. ÌÚÁÚ. the proper kanji appears to be non-jis this website uses ÁÚÌÚ: http://www.station-tower.bias.ne.jp/~sikisito/taranoki.html but still gives them the reading taranoki so perhaps ÁÚ is used as a replacement for the non-jis kanji. katakana, of course, is used far more often. delete? |
