CommentWhy the capital letter N? Also the definition appears to be back-to front. The above should be a second meaning for 隠忍.

Now how much salt needs to be taken with the above links I don't know, but I'm sure an (obsc) applies.

Editorial Comment I have converted all the "Ninja" to "ninja".
Not sure I want to mix up 陽忍 and 隠忍. 陽忍 seems only to be used in 忍者 contexts.

それにしても日本はなってないわね。 まだまだだわ。
CommentOriginal form would presumably be 成っていない, but I don't know how much (if at all) it is used with kanji/with the い for this meaning.

はなっていない 365,000 yahoo.co.jp hits, including a fair number of false positives but at least half are 'good' judging by the first couple of pages.

Current Entry擦り傷(P);擦傷 [すりきず] /(n,vs) scratch/graze/abrasion/(P)/
Headword 1擦り傷
Headword 2擦傷
Reading 1すりきず
Part-of-speechn,vs
English 1scratch
English 2graze
English 3abrasion
Comment> I wonder about merging すりきず and かすりきず.

If you want to merge two entries I suggest

擦り傷(P); 擦傷 【すりきず】 (n,vs) scratch; graze; abrasion; (P)
and
擦り疵; 擦疵 【すりきず】 (n,vs) marring caused by rubbing

> Also, for 擦り傷 the "P" has gone on すりきず, but GG5 etc.
> only list かすりきず. Maybe it should move?

Hmm, I'm not sure quite what your suggestion is.

For the reading かすりきず 広辞苑 only has 掠り傷 (not 擦り傷). 大辞林 only has 擦り傷 not 掠り傷. Web searches suggest that 擦り傷 is far more likely to be すりきず than かすりきず to the extent that I'm half tempted to suggest removing 擦り傷 from the かすりきず entry.

As to the actual word with the reading かすりきず both 広辞苑 and 大辞林 have an entry for すりきず _and_ かすりきず. I'm not sure what your 'etc.' was in "GG5 etc.". Looking at the 'half kanji' versions

かすり傷 220,000 yahoo.co.jp hits
すり傷 194,000
掠り傷 35,800 (かすりきず only)
擦り傷 933,000 (probably the great majority are すりきず)
擦傷 218,000 (probably the great majority are すりきず)

Considering the above I think the (P) should be on 擦り傷(すりきず) as it is now.

Editorial Comment I'd leave the two すりきずs separate (擦り傷/擦り疵).
I will go ahead and merge the 擦り傷/掠り傷/かすりきず/すりきず.

Current Entry掠り傷;かすり傷;擦り傷 [かすりきず] /(n) scratch/graze/
Headword 1かすり傷
Headword 2掠り傷
Headword 3擦り傷
Reading 1かすりきず

CommentSwitched headword order. 擦り傷 possibly warrants some sort of 'depreciating' tag.

Editorial Comment Since 擦り傷/かすりきず is in so many references, I doubt it should be flagged as deprecated.
