肉刺 【まめ】 (n) (col) blister; corn; clitoris

In practice it seems (3) can be either 豆 or 肉刺, which leaves it with kanji, reading and (one) sense the same. As such it may be best to combine the two entries.

Comment"perhaps adding 豆 as an iK to 肉刺 is the best way to go?"

Doing that would make it impossible to distinguish between the two in indexing sentences.

Either having (Sometimes written as 豆) on the 肉刺 or merging the two まめ entries would allow the indexing to remain distinct. As the 'keeper of the examples' I strongly recommend one of those two courses.
