Two points - having the と 'outside' the headwords allows for

English 3as of old
CommentI suggest _not_ removing this.

There are actually more hits for 依然として than 依然 itself (a neat trick until you realise it means that Yahoo is probably recognizing 依然として as a word in itself and not matching pages with it to searches on 依然). I don't think there's anything wrong with supporting short expressions like this when they are in so much use.

依然 4,220,000 yahoo.co.jp hits (2,550,000 Google)
依然として 5,920,000 (4,190,000 Google)

CommentDoes this really mean unmanly weeping? As far as I get it, it's rather a man, who usually doesn't show tears, being overcome by emotion or some other reasnon and starting to cry. Nothing unmanly?

Seems usually the reason is emotional, but only daijisen says it specifically.

Commentuhm, only koujien has kanji for せせらわらう (嘲笑う), others simply list this as せせら笑う...
So maybe 3 headwords (あざ笑う, 嘲笑う, せせら笑う) arranged by frequency and 2 reading? Looks a bit messy...
