Headword 1精米機

Part-of-speechn
English 1rice huller; rice polishing machine. A machine to remove the inner husk and germ (bran) of rice to produce white, polished rice.
Cross-reference
Referencehttp://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/精米機

CommentAll the major home appliance manufacturuers in Japan produce these, and many
homes in Japan own one (but fewer actually use one regularly, since most people
buy white rice). See http://kakaku.com/sku/pricemenu/ricemill.htm

Headword 1
Reading 1
Part-of-speechn
English 1executive director

I don't think this is necessarily 'wrong' but I don't think it's the word generally used inside the games themselves.

魔力 is commonly used as an MP equivalent in Japanese (as is 'MP' itself).

イケてる面 is the first explanation I ever heard for this word, and that's the one I prefer.

gogen-allguide is a great reference. Even though it's still quite limited, I wonder if there's any benefit in linking to it from Edict searches, as is done for Wikipedia, Jekai, etc.

CommentDon't really see how this can be mutual. From the few definitions I found it's completely one-sided.

Hm, wonder if there's a nicer expression in English.

Headword 1
Reading 1
Part-of-speechvs
English 1to get stuck in a rut
English 2to become stereotyped
ReferenceEijiro.
CommentSanseido includes 〜化する in its entry for マンネリズム [as "become stereotyped"], but there are way more google hits for マンネリ化 than マンネリズム化 .

As an aside, looking at the kokugojiten definitions for マンネリズム suggests that the EDICT gloss could use expansion.
