CommentI seems only 広辞苑 lists it with 箆. 大辞林、新明解、漢字源 and so forth lists it with 篦. 広辞苑 and 大辞林 both lists しっぺ as a reading for 竹篦/竹箆.

The above would apply to the entry for 竹箆/しっぺい as well.

Editorial Comment It's the "store-bought" I'm questioning. I think the present commercial/over-the-counter/etc. covers the sense quite well.

Current Entry末那識 [まなしき] /(n) (see 末那識) {Buddh} manas (defiled mental consciousness, which gives rise to the perception of self)/TempSUB/
Headword 1末那
Reading 1まな
Part-of-speechn
English 1(see 末那識) {Buddh} manas (defiled mental consciousness, which gives rise to the perception of self)
English 2TempSUB
Commentthis one should have been submitted as "末那"

まな【末那】
〔仏〕(梵語 manas 意識と訳す) 唯識論に説く八識の第7識。生きている限り常に持続する、自己愛の根源としての迷いの心。末那識。
[Basic Meaning:] (Skt. manas)

Senses:
# Usually translated into Chinese as 意. In Yogācāra theory, the manas is the seventh of the eighth consciousnesses 八識. It is regarded as the fundamental locus for the creation of mistaken views of self (我癡, 我見, 我慢) and the afflictions which result from such mistaken views. See 末那識. (Tib. yid) [cmuller ; source(s): YBh-Ind]

the other one is manas-vijnana

まな‐しき【末那識】
〔仏〕→(→)末那に同じ。
(Skt. manas-vijñāna) The seventh of the eight consciousnesses 八識. Translated into Chinese as 意 and as 思量識. It is the consciousness that localizes experience through thinking. One of its primary functions is to perceive the subjective position of the eighth consciousness 阿鯡躰 and erroneously regard it as one's own ego, thereby creating ego attachment. It is characterized in the Cheng weishi lun as 'continually examining and assessing' 恆審思量. In this function, it is similar to the sixth consciousness 意識, but whereas the latter has interruptions 間斷, the manas' function is continuous. The ālaya, on the other hand, while being continuous, has no discriminatory functionality. Not consciously controllable, the manas is said to give rise to conscious decisions in regard to individual survival, and to incessant self-love. Since it can also be called the movement of the human mind that sees the limits of human variation from within, it is necessary that for their basis
of existence, humans have some fundamental thing that unceasingly continues and changes, serving as the ground for the sixth consciousness. For example the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra says: 末那任持意識令分別轉 是故說爲意識所依 〔瑜伽論 T 1579.30.651c4〕 .

Headword 1コギャル

ReferenceThe Japanese Wikipedia article supporting the part I'm suggesting should be removed now has this disclaimer:

この記事や節の内容に関する文献や情報源を探しています。ご存じの方はご提示ください。出典を明記するためにご協力をお願いします。
Comment I think this part is more to do with stigma than the actual definition: "who may offer themselves for enjo kousai with older men in order to finance their lifestyle". It should be a factual part of the definition to be stated as fact. Otherwise, it is an opinion, which may be relevant if it is commonly held, but it should still be stated as opinion, rather than fact.

Headword 1思い切る
Headword 2思いきる
Reading 1おもいきる
Part-of-speechn
CommentRe your comment: < I'll add vi back, but I am hard put to find an example.>

I'm not well versed in Japanese grammar, but could it be that 思いきる is a vt in Sense 1 (断念する、to give up completely), and a vi in Sense 2 (覚悟する、心を決める、to make up one's mind)?

In Sense 2, examples of 思いきる used as a verb (vi) would be:
見つかったら見つかったときと思い切ることにした。
そんな風に思い切ることはとてもじゃないけど、できなかった。
The variations of this vi use would be: 思いきって (adv) and 思いきった (adj).

When used with 〜を、as in 〜を思いきる (to give up 〜 completely), 思いきる would be a vt, in Sense 1.
Ex.: 彼の事を思い切ることは出来ない。
