Headword 1リボーン
Part-of-speechadj
English 1reborn
Referencehttp://www.reborn.jp/ : Reborn(リボーン)は英語で“生まれ変わる”という意味
です。

http://www.osharu.com/reborn/index.html : リボーンとは?
RE BORN(リボーン) … 生まれ変わった、再生した、の意

http://www.ontvjapan.com/article/01_00/animax_dancouganova.php : リボー
ン(reborn:生まれ変わる)

http://diarynote.jp/user/76943/ : リボーンは生まれ変わるって意味だから
CommentThe first sentence of the first site says that what reborn translates to in
Japanese. The same with the other sites. I choose these sites because they
seem to be of some type of business, and were able to translate リボーン. I've
also seen some Japanese blogs that also translate it (the last link). Also, the
Google translator also translates リボーン to reborn.

However, even though they all translate the word the same, I am not so sure
how its used. I have seem some sites use like "リボーンしました" as if it was a
verb. Thsi may stem from how 生まれ変わる is used (it seems to be a verb) 再
生した seems to be used as a verb (impled by -"した") also, and an adjective
(再生国家 reborn country). So, it all depends how the Japanese words for
reborn are used... リボーン maybe also used for emphasis on being reborn
(the first site implies this).

Editorial Comment I think the current (enamdict) entry is enough: (リボーン (u) Reborn (anime, manga character).
