English 1absolutely every little bit

ReferenceSanseido, which says「かたっぱしから」に同じ

Here's the sentence from the light novel where I encountered it:
小学生の低学年の頃、母親が図書館で子供向けのジュべナイルを借りてきて俺にあてがった本を片端から読んでいた。
CommentI've just copied the meanings from the existing definition of かたっぱしから.

Looking again at the example sentence I notice EDICT doesn't have ジュべナイル either, but I haven't submitted that as an entry as it doesn't seem to be in Sanseido or Eijiro.

Current Entry日本文法 [にほんぶんぽう] /(n) Japanese grammar/
Headword 1日本文法
Reading 1にほんぶんぽう
Part-of-speechn
English 1Japanese grammar
CommentI don't find this expression in any other on-line dictionary. Just from it's feeling, the expression is quite strange, at least for me. As I have, for better or worse, had many occasions to discuss the grammar of various languages with my Japanese colleagues, I always followed the form: 言語の文法, whereby 言語 can be any language under discussion.
