I hear it all the time, it's very common in Anime and Games (but I don't think it's a (m-sl)). It's exactly the same as the use of ねえ with older sister figures (which probably should also be an entry). Incidentally these include actual older brothers and sisters - when it is necessary to distinguish /which/ older brother sister is being referred to. A typical example would be in reference to someone who is very close to the family but not related, used after the 'christian' name (often abbreviated). Seriously I provided the above text when I submitted this entry from a source with audio and text and it most certainly wasn't 'けい'. |
