Current Entry付き [つき(P);づき;ツキ] /(n,n-suf) (1) attached to/(2) furnished with/(3) impression/appearance/(n) (4) (uk) luck/(5) sociality/(n,n-suf) (6) (See お付き) under/assistant (e.g. to a manager)/(7) soup base/(P)/ (1583630)

CommentVirtually all (30/31) of the existing examples are for sense (2). Maybe it should be moved to position (1).

I'm not sure what "(1) attached to" refers to, anybody got an example of it in use? It looks like it could be a variation on (6) (e.g. "He's attached to the ____ department.") If it's different enough to be a separate sense I think the gloss needs a little amplification.

CommentI think some (See ) links, more glosses and an extra sense makes it more clear how this is used.

With the previous entry V-shaped (V型) ends up in the same category as 1992 model (1992型) - and the ○○-model examples would not be under the sense with 'model' as a gloss.

(1) (がた when a suffix) type/style/pattern/(2) model/mold (mould)

I'm distinguishing between manufactured-type/model and other uses of type/model. (So a 'morning person' is (2) but an 'old type of television' is (1)).

Comment> I wondered abou this, but it seems common. POS? not an adj.

Well there's always the ever popular (exp).

I don't know what happened to the discussions about alterations to the (adj) tag collection* but it is a noun-modifying-phrase so it's not that far away from (adj-/something/) in my opinion.

* I think I suggested a tag specifically for 'true/-i' adjectives, this certainly isn't one of those.
