| Comment | I frequently see an ending with なのか, but I cannot seem to find a clear translation of meaning which matches in with with preceeding text. I guess it is obviouos, but not to a beginner. For example, is the な to be read as don't do something after a plain verb or as an emphasis afer other types of word. Or is な part of なの before the question marker か. If the latter, is it just an emphasis of little particular meaning? |
