Editorial Comment Not very. I'll tag is as "obsc". Adding よくもそんなことを & よくもまあ.

Current Entry宝箱 [たからばこ] /(n) strongbox/ (1516240)
Headword 1宝箱
Reading 1たからばこ
Part-of-speechn
English 1treasure chest
English 2treasure box
CommentI don't know if "treasure box" is proper English, but at least "treasure chest" should be. The original entry, "strongbox" as in "a safe", doesn't sound right. 金庫 is much better for that.

Headword 1標目
Reading 1ひょうもく
Part-of-speechn
English 1heading
English 2access point
ReferenceALC has it in compound nouns:
http://eow.alc.co.jp/%C9%B8%CC%DC/EUC-JP/

Rikkyo University's English version of the OPAC library search page uses "heading" as well, instead of 標目. As in 件名標目 becomes "subject heading".

"Access point" is used here:
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C9%B8%CC%DC

And here on the Japanese Wikipedia as an alternative for 標目:

「規則は大きく分けて、資料について同定するための書誌的要素を記述する部分についての規則と、標目あるいはアクセス・ポイント等と呼ばれる索引の部分の規則とがある。」
CommentThis appears a common term in bibliographical environments, at least in compound nouns such as 件名標目 and 分類標目. Based on the kanji, ALC and Rikkyo's OPAC page I would suggest "heading", although "code" or "access point" might be suitable as well. What do you think? Add only the compound nouns, or can this entry stand on its own? Please let me know if more authoritative sources are needed.

I can add more specified compound nouns with 標目 later on.

Editorial Comment GG5 has "entry heading", which I think works OK.

Headword 1年末迄
Headword 2年末まで

Commentまで is usually written in hiragana, added the headword reflecting that. Would (iK) be appropriate for the 年末迄 headword?
NameJeroen Hoek
Submission Typeamend
Editorial Comment It would be oK rather than ik, as 迄 is まで. With 13k hits for 年末迄 (2M for 年末まで), it's perhaps used enough to miss out on oK.

also of interest is this blog post talking about changing a porno title to Clockwork Orgy:
見た目も発音も、orange と orgy は似ていますね。
orgy は「乱飲乱舞の酒宴、乱痴気騒ぎ、乱行」、orgy party だと「乱交パーティー」。
そういうエッチな意味なので、ポルノのタイトルに**もじって**使われているのです。
Commentadded もじる, which seems a bit special. Oddly rikaichan caught this; I thought it was wwwjdic based...

Editorial Comment I think that's really sense 2. Also もじる seems limited to 捩る. I'll add "esp. もじる" to sense 2, as that;s what my refs. are saying.

Editorial Comment Is this needed? I see the need for 十四日 and 十日 because of the readings, but 十五日 is quite regular.
