Headword 1ら抜き言葉
Reading 1らぬきことば
Part-of-speechn
English 1'ra'-removed word (i.e. lacking the 'ra' in the 'rareru' verb conjunction)
CommentAmendment: In the English meaning field, shouldn't the word 'conjunction' be 'conjugation'? Also, it might be clearer if 'rareru' were '-rareru'.

Thank you for creating this wonderful resource!

Commentなど is marked with uk... when its used as etc... but i personally havent seen this at all.. it seem to me that in a formal letters its is ALWAYS write as kanji... and in other cases a mix of hiragana and kanji are used...

Also google searches on it show that its more commonly found in kanji form

Headword 1
Reading 1かぶ
Reading 2かっこかぶ
Part-of-speechpref
Part-of-speechsuf
Miscabbr
English 1public company
English 2corporation
English 3KK
English 4formula for an incorporated public company
Cross-reference株式会社
ReferenceThis is a very common character in daily usage. I found the "reading" かっこかぶ confirmed in a keitai manual on 記号 by the Sanyo coorperation:

www.sanyo-keitai.com/docomo/sa700is/use/images/kigou.pdf

although its reading is in wider use (there is also a manga title with the same name and character).
CommentThese characters are part of EUC-JP and by extension, Unicode. They appear on websites and such, so having them in WWWJDIC is useful for users of semi-automated translating software such as RikaiChan, or people copy/pasting them into WWWJDIC.

It could/should also be cross-referenced to 株.

The meanings are copied verbatim from 株式会社.

I'll submit (こっかゆう) as well, but I can't get a good grasp of the meaning of (かっこだい), so I'll leave that one for now.

English 1incorporated
Cross-reference株式会社
CommentOn reflection, it might be better to use the Unicode defined meaning for this character, which is simply "incorporated" (suitable perhaps since it is a sort of abbr.)

Headword 1記訴

Editorial Comment 9 Google hits; almost all false positives. I suspect a typo for 起訴.

Current Entry自ずから明か [おのずからあきらか] /(adj-na) self-evident/ (1615990)
Headword 1自ずから明らか
Headword 2おのずから明らか
Reading 1おのずからあきらか
Part-of-speechadj-na
English 1self-evident
ReferenceThe headword missed the ら from 明らか. The one example this word links too uses おのずから明らか. I also ran into the word in a book I'm reading, which uses おのずから明らか.

ALC too uses 自ずから明らか.
CommentSuggest dropping the 自ずから明か headword in favour of 自ずから明らか, Google gives only some 40 odd hits, some of which are WWWJDIC derivatives.
