| Reference | I don't have one per-se, I have a japanese friend who I email with back and forth, she told me that "French Fries" was one of her favorite english words, and provided the kanji for it.
I didn't see it in the Dict, but i got a partial key match for the "Age" Kanji with a few meaning for being deep fried, and the "Jyaga" is short for "Jyagaimo" as far as I can tell. I'm not exactly interested in acknolwedgement, just wanted to potentially contribute to this great resource. Sorry if this is a poor submission. |

| Comment | I believe that the kana reading is correct, but I cannot find support for it because in the Japanese text only the kanji are used (see Google, for example). The context in which I read the above is this: 鍾き（守護神の瓦人形）
Also the き in 鍾き represents a kanji which I cannot access on my system but it is a combination of the kanji for 9 and neck (Nelson 6720). The nearest meaning I can find is this: the shoji guardian statues of 京都市. |
