Comment | I hope that my part of speech is correct. You have 話し合い on your database, The above appeared in text alongside 話し合い. The context was about discussion and exhanging ideas at a meeting. I searched around to find the meaning of しあい as a suffix, but apart from 試合 nothing seemed to come up. Then I thought that it may be the same meaning as し合い as a suffix to 話. As する and す seem to both turn into し in such situations, I decided to check it out on your site and got the 'make a submission'. If the anticiapted meaning is correct, then that makes complete sense. And, as you stated in one of your recent editorial comments, it would help a beginner to know. If the anticipated meaning is not correct, then I am sorry to have made the submission [back to continuing the search in the old hard copy]. |
