Please take a close look at the images before going with "emergency exit lights", since the fact that the top results for the term "emergency exit lights" without a "/" in the image search are written in Japanese tends to suggest that "emergency exit lights" is a bit of Japanese English. Plus, as a native English speaker, I've never heard "emergency exit lights" in my life, and it sounds silly.

| Comment | Many thanks for eplaining about のみならず. It is simple when one knows. I was somewhat put off の in front because on Google みならず was preceded by に on a lot of occasions.
Also, thanks for explaining about the modifications underway. My main reason for asking about a control function to bring up the explanatory notes in a separate pane was based on the fact that when one is in the main site for word searches or submissions, as well as amendments, it could be useful to refer to the codes and notes without leaving the main site. However, I can imagine that the practicality of doing things to the site is a foremost consideration. I am obliged for you taking the time to explain these things. |
