Comment | shouldn't these ¡û¡û be on the headword/japanese side of the entry? (jdic doesnt support searching for ** so i left that)
Added "bleep" which is the English word for a beeping sound used for censoring, which as you know is usually accompanied by ¡û¡û on screen... |

Wouldn't this be much more elegantly handled by splitting up n and vs? n: defeat vs: to be defeated |

Comment | With regard to the recent entries from David and Paul on the above, from my point of view, everything is worth keeping [and, indeed, including] unless there is some good reason to do otherwise, e.g., space restrictions, site management, etc.
As to the meaning of a 'dark window' which is also given in Nelson, there is bound to be a debate about poetic usage. Nevertheless, if I had read the poem referred to by Paul, and if I were wondering about meaning, I should have been very happy to go to your site and find the expression 'dark window' and then let my imagination take over in the context of the poem. As to the part-of-speech, I am wondering whether the classification of 'expression' may not more properly describe the entry. |

I'll keep it with a note "(poet.)". If it exists, noun is OK I think.
I'd like one day to have a tag indicating that ther is doubt about a wor and it could/should be reviewed. |

Comment | In text that I was reading, there was a quotation attributed Ãú. ¥í¥¤¥ê¥Ò¥ó (1455-1513). I found a reference to ¸Åŵ³Ø¼Ô¡¤¿Íʸ³Ø¼Ô Reuchlin (ROIRIHIN) classicist and humanities scholar, but I am not sure about the prefix 'Ãú'. That is all I have, but your data for names is comprehensive and I wondered if this should be included. |
