As far as I can tell, ê¶Îµ´Ý [The Emperor] is the name of the yacht upon which the English/Japanese trade treaty of 1858 was signed.
I understand that this comes into focus at the present time because of the 150th anniversary of the event.
I cannot find a classification for ships in the POS section so I guess it is as the above.

CommentI appreciate that ÅÙ can be added to many things, but I am wondering how I can determine the reading and the meaning, unless I can find the complete expression in a reliable reference source.
I can find ³Øǯ without any problem. I can find ÅÙ without any problem. However, when I see the options as to the meanings and readings of ÅÙ, I wonder on what basis I can confidently select the correct one, save perhaps by a reference to a teacher of customs. Usually, this means the text book; a most unsatisfactory tool, unless one has an excellent memory for all that one has read.
It would be very much appreciated to see such records of custom on your site.

CommentI am using the above as an example to support my immediately preceding submission for ³ØǯÅÙ.
I also searched for ³Ø±àº× on your site because I could not find the complete reading in my reference books. I could find the three kanji as a combination, but only the reading of the first two was given and then a range of combinations followed, including the above, without any readings for the additional kanji [perhaps all my reference works are near useless, because many of the customary endings are added without any readings given].
Anyway, I knew that the beginning was ¤¬¤¯¤¨¤ó, but was the third kanji ¥µ¥¤¡¡or ¤Þ¤Ä¤ê?
My guess, based no doubt on memory of some text book, was the former, but I have learned not to rely upon too much logic nor memory when it comes to Japanese readings so I turned to your site for confirmation.
Great, up came the above. Now I shall try to remember that º× added to ³Ø±à reads ¤¬¤¯¤¨¤ó¤µ¤¤. However, if my memory fails me next time, I know that I can just look to your site again, and again, for the answer; and with a just a couple clicks, I shall have it [so unlike the text book search]. Moreover, with the constant peer review, I know that the answer would have been tested.
I hope that you will apply the same facility for ³ØǯÅÙ.
