Editorial Comment Not really. The "base" entry is 喧しい/やかましい. 喧しい can also be read かまびすしい, which is also written 囂しい. 囂しい can also be read かしましい or かしがましい. As long as the meaning is the same, I think it's OK to chain around in an entry like that.

Current Entry蟠竜丸 [がんりゅうまる] /(u) The Emperor (yacht on which the 1858 UK/Japan treaty was signed)/NA/
Headword 1蟠竜丸

English 1The Emperor (yacht on which the 1858 UK
English 2Japan treaty was signed)
English 3NA
ReferenceSee below.
CommentHaving listened to a short lecture, I now understand that the name 'The Emperor' was the name given to the yacht by the British, which yacht was a gift by the British to the Japanese at the time of signing the treaty. The name'蟠竜丸' was the name given to it by the Japanese. Thus, the two names may not have a relationship in direct meaning, but the name of this significant yacht is still perhaps worthy for inclusion in names' dictionary.

Again, an example of a very common ending in the database.
As I sought confirmation of the reading and for ideas for a good English equivalent for meaning, I was very pleased to discover the above on your site. 'Orientation' fits perfectly, but 'directionality' was an uncomfortable fit into the sentence which I was reading. This is the problem which I faced: "Could I just accept the 'せい' ending as the reading and could I just add 'ity'? Well, yes I could, but the result did not quite fit.
Searching your site and finding that clue to greater understanding was a bonus.
Again many thanks.
