Again, an example of a very common ending in the database. As I sought confirmation of the reading and for ideas for a good English equivalent for meaning, I was very pleased to discover the above on your site. 'Orientation' fits perfectly, but 'directionality' was an uncomfortable fit into the sentence which I was reading. This is the problem which I faced: "Could I just accept the 'せい' ending as the reading and could I just add 'ity'? Well, yes I could, but the result did not quite fit. Searching your site and finding that clue to greater understanding was a bonus. Again many thanks. |
