The text which I was reading was this: ...特殊な服装持つ記号性。I thought that the meaning was something like 'a sign that someone has special clothes'. However, as before with the concept of the 'ity' ending on the word 'sign', as also with the case of 方向性, I could not get into my mind a suitable word for the translation, albiet getting to the meaning seemed to be fairly easy. Perhaps some of your experts will throw up a better meaning should you decide to add yet another of these common endings into your database [I hope that will be the case!] |
