Current Entry町内の人々 [ちょうない] /(?) ???/RH/
Headword 1町内の人々
Reading 1ちょうない
Part-of-speech?
English 1???
English 2RH
ReferenceSee below.
CommentThe reading above does not seem to match the entire headword so I thought that I would bring it to your attention.
I was searching for '外国人々口', but I could not find a direct match. However, the page revealed the above.
I am taking my own search for '外国人々口' to mean something like 'foreign populations' or perhaps 'the mouths of foreigners' or perhaps 'foreign speakers' with a reading of perhaps 'がいこくひとびとこう(or ぐち)'.
Apart from perhaps your making a correction to the main entry above, if you thought my search worth an entry, then I should be pleased to see it. The actual part of text which I was reading was this: 比較的外国人々口の比率が高かったからでした。 I am taking this to mean something like: '[the result] was because the comparative portion of foreign speaking(?) people was high.

ReferenceSee below.
CommentI am not wholly sure quite what the above means in the context of Japanese schools. That is what I was hoping to find on your site. My meanings as suggested above were simply based on reading some text. The context was an autobiographical account of someone who was filling in an application form for higher education.

Current Entry世界観 [せかいかん] /(n) world view/outlook on the world/(P)/ (1645810)
Headword 1世界観
Reading 1せかいかん
Part-of-speechn
English 1(1) world view
English 2outlook on the world
English 2(2) appearance of a world (e.g. in fiction)
CommentIn video games this is commonly used (naturally, considering the meaning of 観 as a suffix) to describe to style of the setting, or literally the way the world looks. It doesn't mean one's outlook on the world. (perhaps figuratively it means the story's/author's view of a world?)
Ex:
「ブレードラナー」的な世界観が好み。Bladerunner-style settings are my favorite.
楽しい世界観に引き込まれる。One is drawn in by(to) the pleasant view/look/appearance of the world.
(the 2nd example might fit the current entry but it just seemed a bit ambiguous to me, esp. listed with "outlook" which is an individual's subjective perception, not a style)
