CommentFollowing Rene's suggestion of using the on-line dictionaries in respect of my submission for 根本, I came across this: '京坂で、歌舞伎の正本(しょうほん)(脚本)のこと。[on Yahoo]' as an explanation.

I checked out that string on your translation section and I got the following:-
坂京 【きょうさか】 Kyousaka (s) 【きようさか】 Kiyousaka (s) NA
歌舞伎 【かぶき】 (n) kabuki; Japanese classical drama; (P); EP
正本 【せいほん】 (n) original; original text; authenticated facsimile; authenticated copy; ED
脚本 【きゃくほん】 (n) script; screenplay; scenario; (P); EP.

I noticed that the reading for '正本' was 'せいほん'. This reading did not match Nelson, nor the above reference, nor others [they had 'しょうほん']

I then checked with your word search and I got the above headword, plus a separate entry for the following:-
正本 【せいほん】 (n) original; original text; authenticated facsimile; authenticated copy.

The translation picked up the above [immediately above] which, as noted above, was the different reading.

I am wondering whether the two entries should be merged so that both readings appear in the translation section. Or, in any event, perhaps they should both be cross-referenced to each other. Both readings are correct in the context of their meanings, but it is the 'しょうほん' which relates to plays.

Editorial Comment I have 正本/せいほん and 正本/しょうほん as different entries as I regard them as different words that just happen to be written the same way. Think of "desert" in English. I have a "specials" file I use in the Translate Words function for such things (look up 生地 for an example of its use.) Probably 正本 should go in it.

With regard to my submission immediately before this one, I wondered if you noticed that the headword, as above, on the translation section was reversed, namely:-
坂京 【きょうさか】 Kyousaka (s) 【きようさか】 Kiyousaka (s) NA .

[By the way, I did copy the entry and paste, rather than typing it myself.]

I checked out the word search for '坂京' and I got a different reading. I then searched for '京坂' and I got the correct entry of: '【きょうさか】京坂 Kyousaka (s) 【きようさか】 Kiyousaka (s) NA '

Then as a matter of interest, I returned to the translation section and, to my surprise, I got the following:-
京坂で、歌舞伎の正本(しょうほん)(脚本)のこと。

【きょうさか】京坂 Kyousaka (s) 【きようさか】 Kiyousaka (s) NA
歌舞伎 【かぶき】 (n) kabuki; Japanese classical drama; (P); EP
正本 【しょうほん】 (n) book of registration; text of a play; ED
脚本 【きゃくほん】 (n) script; screenplay; scenario; (P); EP .

This new search shows the correct entry for both '京坂 ' and '正本 '. However the reading and the kanji were transposed for '京坂 '.

As I copied and pasted all, as well as by observation, I am quite happy that the above is as it was. Could it possibly be my computer playing games?

ReferenceSee below.
CommentIt is quite helpful to have the entries 'そうなんです' and 'そうなんですけどねぇ'. I may also be helpful to have the question form.

Sometimes it is difficult for a novice to be certain that the 'question' form is a direct question of the positive statement when faced with colloquial expressions. For example, is 'そうなんですか' simply, 'Is it yes?', or more naturally 'Is that so?' or what?

Editorial Comment Are you going to add そうなんです and そうなんですけどねぇ? They are not there at present (only in the "work-in-progress" (WI) file.)

Editorial Comment It will WHEN 再検証 becomes an entry. It isn't one now. (Hint: "WI" entries are not official entries.) PS, you just created a bogus 再検証 entry which I now have to remove. Please don't the "Suggest an entry" option when you are only commenting on an RH entry.

Current Entry環境型セクハラ [かんきょうがたセクハラ] /(n) sexual harassment due to an hostile environment/environmental sexual harassment/ (2424300)
Headword 1環境型セクハラ

English 1sexual harassment due to an hostile environment

CommentI'm the original suggester of this entry. I don't really
see the point in chipping in with imagined definitions to
words - if someone can come up with a correct or widely
used equivalent to this term in English, that would be
helpful, but failing that "environmental sexual harassment"
seems OK in terms of carrying the meaning.

CommentAlthough I'm not too fond of the current layout generated for such big, many headword/reading entries (like 脅かす and 堪える), current practice seems to dictate that this entry could be merged with 駆ける(P); 駈ける 【かける】.

If not, I would like to understand the difference between these cases.

Editorial Comment I hate かける. My inclination is to merge the 翔ける and 翔る, but they seem to be 一段 and 五段 respectively. I wonder how. Maybe I go ahead and do it and put in comment about the odd PoSs.
