These are the submissions received via the WWW forms for this day. I (Jim Breen) will annotate the submission if I think it needs to be amended or rejected or if I have a question about it. Otherwise it can be assumed that it has been accepted. You can see how it will look in EDICT by looking at the "diffs" file for this day or the next in the diffs directory.

せめて、トルーマン・カポーティの『冷血』ぐらい読ませろ。ホイホイ気軽に海外に出て、たかられたり、騙されたり、殺されたりするマヌケな日本人が、少しは減るだろう。
CommentMy Shogakukan Progressive JE Dict also gives
子どもにほいほいする = pamper [spoil] a child
I suppose this meaning would require a (vs) tag, but although EDICT documentation says ...

"For entries which have (vs), do not enter them as verb infinitives (e.g. "to cook"), instead enter them as gerunds/participles/whatever (e.g. cooking (vs))."

...I'm not sure that it makes sense to give "pampering" as a definition, since ほいほい does not seem to be used as a noun.

Editorial Comment I'm gradually breaking out "vs" components into their own senses, so for this one a second sense is a good idea: "(2) (vs) to pamper/to spoil/".

Current Entry摩羅;魔羅 [まら] /(n) (1) obstacle to Buddhist practice (practise)/(2) (col) penis/ (1671700)

English 2(2) (vul) penis
CommentThe term まら for 'penis' is the most vulgar word for that organ, and should be
marked as such.

Editorial Comment I don't find that reference very convincing. Searching for 緊い in pages, I found several where it was read かたい! (Probably a 変換ミス for 堅い).
