CommentI was searching for a meaning and I found what I was looking for. However, I wondered if the above headword should be merged, or cross-referenced, to the following entry:-

鬼ヶ島; 鬼ケ島 【おにがしま】 (n) mythological island of demons.

Incidentally, when I clicked on 'kanji search' for the headword of this submission, I got the following 3 kanji: '鬼', '城', '池'. And, when I clicked on 'kanji search' for the entry in my comments [immediately above] I got the following 4 kanji: '鬼', '城', '牧', '場'.

I expect that you will, as before, find that all is in order; and sometimes when I check again at a later date, the correct kanji come up, but when this happens I cannot get the correct kanji at the same session.

新年おめでとうございます。

Editorial Comment I have removed 鬼ヶ島 and 鬼ケ島 from enamdict. I can't reproduce that kanji lookup result - I just get 鬼 and 島.
