Editorial Comment I think it's an abbrev. of ¥é¥Ö¥í¡¼¥·¥ç¥ó. Interesting pages. I like the "¥¹¥«¥¤¥ï¥é¥Ó¡¼", but as for the "¥á¥¤¥¯¥é¥Ö¥ê¥Ã¥×" ...

"carved out of wood" to be precise, but I think "wooden bowl" is enough.

CommentYou don't actually cut *on* the board, but *against* it (its side), and it moves along as you cut the dough into thin strands. See here for an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23ZRTFotr9k

(koma ¾®´Ö quite literally means "small intervals", referring to the small movement the board makes every time you cut and lift the cleaver)

CommentRiding back to you on the above entry, I can see the merit of what you are saying ["Possibly adding "adj-t" to ¼ç¸¶ÎÁ will serve"]. I can also see the point which Rene makes ["i don't think adj-t is necessary (plus, afaik you can add ¤¿¤ë to the end of pretty much anything to make it into that kind of descriptor)"]

Perhaps Rene could develop an entry for "¤¿¤ë" on your site which would allow the novice to look up "¤¿¤ë" and also be able to reach the meaning intended by the type of text which was referred to in my submissions. I do not believe that the intended end result could easily be reached by a novice who was searching the present entries.

In a way, I rather prefer the "adj-t" suggestion because it make it clear that it is an adjective ending which is intended.

Either way, I should be grateful if you would allow your site to develop a better understanding on "¤¿¤ë" in the context discussed.
