Commentadding the meaning "to swing". neither nelson nor spahn & hadamitzky includes
this meaning, but i ran across it in a book, and couldn't find it here. so then i
googled it, and got the wikipedia entry and others.

Current Entry菌毒 [きんどく] /(n) mushroom poison/ (1241970)
Headword 1菌毒
Reading 1きんどく
Part-of-speechn
English 1bacteria
English 2fungal bacteria
English 3harmful bacteria
ReferenceI can't find an exact reference for this, but Spahn and Hadamitzky translate 菌 as "bacteria, germ, fungus", not as "mushroom".
Comment菌毒 is what the dentist just removed from underneath a previously-capped tooth of mine. That's not "mushroom poison", as the present entry has it! I think "bacteria" or "fungal bacteria" is a better translation.

C.f. 黴菌(ばいきん)= bacteria, germs.

Editorial Comment GG5 has "mushroom poison". "bacteria" is plain wrong, and "fungal bacteria" is meaningless. I'd put "fungal toxin", but that's usually 真菌毒.

Current Entry葛飾北斉 [かつしかほくさい] Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) (h)
Headword 1葛飾北斉
Reading 1かつしかほくさい
Part-of-speech?
English 1Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) (h)
ReferenceSee below.
CommentI am wondering if this should be deleted. The following entry in your data [see below] which also matches the text which I have been reading, namely: an introduction to the film "Portrait of the Artistic Genius 'Katsushika Hokusai'" is different to the above.

葛飾北斎 【かつしかほくさい】 Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) (h)

As the entry is a name, and should it be the case that either kanji is all right, then perhaps it should be demonstrated by an alternative reading in the single entry for that individual person's name.

Editorial Comment I've noted that 葛飾北斉 has an incorrect kanji.
