New Entries/Amendments for 2009-06-04

These are the submissions received via the WWW forms for this day. I (Jim Breen) will annotate the submission if I think it needs to be amended or rejected or if I have a question about it. Otherwise it can be assumed that it has been accepted. You can see how it will look in EDICT by looking at the "diffs" file for this day or the next in the diffs directory.
Annotations completed: 4 June.

CommentThis is well represented on Google.

It comes up often in text. I suppose it is ignored by reference books because it is obvious to the one who knows.

However, your site could accommodate the entry as being compatible with the following:-

職務経験 【しょくむけいけん】 (n) work experience
苦い経験 【にがいけいけん】 (n) bitter experience
未経験 【みけいけん】 (adj-na,n,adj-no) inexperience

And, of course, many more examples in the work in progress file.

PS. a range of 5 entries which I posted on 30th May [English time] appeared on the Today entries, but then disappeared. Should I re-submit them?

Editorial Comment Re your 5 entries, all 5 are still in the group waiting to be processed. Rene proposed modifications to them which I accepted.

CommentSuggestion for an up-grade.

This expression comes up quite a bit on Google and in various text which I have read. I do not think that there is much doubt about meaning (also [A] in your data also gives the reading).

The meaning seems quite obvious once it is understood, but it would be helpful for the novice to have that confirmation on a site like yours; which site seems more and more likely to include these useful combinations which plague the beginner.
