Current Entry額付き [ひたいつき] /(n) shape of one's brow or forehead/ (1685480)
Headword 1額付き
Reading 1かぐつき
Reading 1ひたいつき
Part-of-speechn
English 1(かぐつき only) framed (picture, etc,; lit: frame included)
English 1(ひたいつき only) shape of one's brow or forehead
ReferencePlenty of websites showing compounds like 額付き写真, 額付きポースター, as well as many others where the term appears in the context of paper, printing, photographs, framing, etc.
CommentI stumbled over this entry when perusing an advertisement concerning a flea market and first thought the English was plain wrong (according to other dictionaries it isn't, though). But you will notice, when perusing web search results, that the first reading/meaning i have input above is far more common in a contemporary context than the second one (i have actually not yet been able to locate a page where the second reading/meaning was used).

Normally i don't see a need to add "noun"+"付き" compounds to the dictionary, but in this case i think it is warranted because otherwise one would get a totally misleading result (in most cases)...

Editorial Comment I have made this a new entry for "額付き [かぐつき] /(exp,adj-f) framed (picture, etc.)/" It fails the "2-out-of-3" test for merging with 額付き/ひたいつき as the meanings are locked to the readings.

CommentThis is information "normal dictionaries" may not have, but i think it is worth having. ;-)

Current Entry下衆張る [げすばる] /(v5r) to conduct oneself in an unseemly manner/to be vulgar/TempSUB/
Headword 1下衆張る
Reading 1げすばる
Part-of-speechv5r
English 1to conduct oneself in an unseemly manner
English 2to be vulgar
English 3TempSUB
Comment下衆張る 【げすばる】 (v5r) to conduct oneself in an unseemly manner; to be vulgar (NB: User-submitted entry, awaiting verification) [V][G][GI][S][A]
下司ばる; 下種ばる 【げすばる】 (v5r) to be churlish; to be crude; to be boorish; to be vulgar [V][G][GI][S][A] [G][GI][S][A]

Obviously the same, merge.

Googling for 下種ばる only results in a couple of edict-related hits, while 下種張る matches a few actual uses of this word. So please also change ばる to 張る.

下司ばる is also dubious. Neither djs nor djr list it. It does get around five real hits, while 下司張る gets one.

CommentSide glance sounds somewhat unnatural and resulted in me finding 尻目 when I searched for "sidelong glance" which is part of a connotative expression, not the objective term I was looking for. If nothing else this definition should at least include the alternative.
